In Dynodex, you can easily open a list of all the records in the file. There are two different lists available: "Just Names", which shows the "First Line" and "Phones 1-4", or "All Fields", which shows every field for each record.
You can click on any part of a record in either list and Dynodex brings up that record in the entry screen and highlights the field you clicked on. To dial the number in any phone field, double-click on the number.
To mark a record, click along the left side of any list window. A check mark indicates a marked record and a small box indicates the current record.
You can move and resize any list, and close it by clicking in the close box or choosing "Close", Cmd-W. If you want a list to always open in the same place on your screen, you can choose "Window Persistence" in "Preferences".
SUGGESTION: Leave the "Just Names" list open on screen all the time. It gives you an overview of all your records, and you can click on any record in the list to bring it up in the entry screen. An open list window lets you mark records quickly.
